thank you for amplifying the way that saves lives and brings out the better in us; in a societal and nuclear level.

Countries that have had bad experiences of pandemics have a system in place and knew what to do. New to us over here but no excuse, at this stage, for not copying countries with a system in place.

Sorry, what pandemics have Vietnam, Taiwan, New Zealand, South Korea, Australia, Hong Kong experienced?

I just don’t understand why this isn’t happening. It’s absolutely mind boggling that people wouldn’t look at what’s been successful elsewhere and take that learning. Thank you for this article and all of your most helpful tweets

Standard behaviour: UK never seems to look at best practice elsewhere! In so many fields: education, health service, justice/prisons....

This two weeks of rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic will achieve little at best, it seems. And then hospitality will open up, just in time for the English half term holidayers, so any gains made will be lost in the blink of an eye. It's not looking ideal. Sadly.

Thank you. You've only been trying to get your message through to UK Govt for 6+ months. Perhaps they will eventually listen, but I doubt it. This libertarian Tory Govt doesn't do collectivism. There's no common good, just wealth creation opportunities for Tories & their donors.
