Looks like "Test and Protect" holding up in Scotland. Back into the single digits -> 7 new reported infections, 0 deaths. Many people working long hours doing testing/tracing work supported by public using face coverings indoors & distancing when possible. https://www.gov.scot/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-daily-data-for-scotland/ …

Just a reminder how fragile the situation is & how hard it is to maintain these low numbers in current situation. Israel went from 10 cases/day to 1400 cases/day after celebrating the end of the pandemic & people not taking precautions. Need to all do our part to keep #s low.

Do you know if there's any links between the recent mini spikes coming at the end of the week/weekend and the logistics of testing/tracing and associated reporting cycles?

Test numbers were very low yesterday. Maybe because it was the weekend?

Regional test centre result count is a tenth or less of that of Sunday and Saturday though (granted, +ve is back down to around 0.4% so that's good). Hard to get a good handle on the figures without understanding the timing / delay of the UKGov lab results.

While 7 is good news number of tests is down on Saturday and Sunday. But we already new test and trace works from the work done in Dumfries and Galloway.
