You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make it drink. Giving some people the knowledge doesn’t mean that they will take appropriate action in the light of that knowledge.

Surely the going to a beach depends on whether it is a tourist mecca or a deserted strand

Staying in a hotel less risky than going to a beach, that doesn't sound right to me, one very much indoors, one outdoors. Could you do your own version ??

Do you think these risk levels remain the same when appropriate mitigation is present? Eg would attending a funeral be higher risk than swimming in a public pool if social distancing, face coverings and hand hygiene was being observed?
-
A pool is full of chlorine so you would only be at risk in a pool if you changed in a changing room & touched surfaces, or if you swam really close to someone. Pools are planning to have extra wide lanes so you are 2m apart from other swimmers, which will keep the risk low.

what is it about plane travel that makes it high risk? close proximity, air conditioning, or something else?
