People may now actually start to realise that rules apply to them too and that maybe they should follow them preventing further outbreaks and the need for local lockdowns in the first place.....it’s really not that difficult...

You only have to look at places like australia to realise that a resurgence is inevitable. Just as will happen in NZ when they eventually open their borders. But blaming the people is exactly what the govt will want. Divide and conquer detracts from their own shortcomings.

We need to do all we can to avoid future lockdowns. This means addressing easily modifiable risk factors. So far this includes, keeping a distance, reducing time inside with groups and wearing masks.
