If Scotland, N.Ireland & Republic of Ireland can all drive numbers low & head towards a ‘zero COVID’ goal —> why can’t England? Takes leadership, clear strategy, building functional test/trace/isolate system & trust in govt.

UK June 26 data 186 dead in all settings Variation to be expected but daily figures not good. Rolling average not coming down much. Lack of daily briefing a problem. What about Wales? Where do you place Wales? As bad as England ?

Yes what about Wales? Very similar lockdown to Scotland, but not doing as well. For me the difference is lack of testing, no clear strategy, and awful messaging
