Which if course was never the policy in the UK. Flatten the curve meant, literally, allowing a long medium level outbreak rather than a short spike. England doesn't seem to have had a proper policy since that at the very start.

The economy bit is of course what Johnson, Cummings and co can't see. By putting health first you save the economy, prioritising the economy means the pandemic wins. If they were even half as clever as they think they are we wouldn't be in this mess.

BoJo has decided to ignore the experts and is to open the pubs on 22nd June. BoJo has asked business secretary Alok Sharma to find a ruse for cutting England’s social distancing to one metre. Tories pursuing a theory people will forget the 60k dead when they are enjoying a beer.

Only if you don’t want *any* of your citizens to die and aren’t perfectly happy for them to succumb to Covid19 as long as it doesn’t “overwhelm the NHS”. The Tories still do t understand what they are creating - they should talk with frontline lung doctors and rehab staff!

Think we may now be, 'fattening' the curve. Very sadly for us.
