Deeply uncomfortable with suggestions of letting the virus run through the population while shielding the 'vulnerable'. Works well on a graph or simulation --> huge gamble to play with peoples' lives esp. given # of unknowns & complexity of society. Might write something on this.

And it's in bad faith. The Centre and the Right have spent ten years attacking the vulnerable. They're not going to stop now.

If only they had supported Corbyn then we can say they'd supported the vulnerable. Wait what?

There's so many people in UK that have diabetes, hypertension and obesity that it would be near impossible to shield that many people.

Maybe possible for a while. The elderly are not all the same. Differently abled people have different abilities, not all the same. Medical and other care can be done at a distance. Heard of the flying doctor service? Can abdominal pain be diagnosed via a set of Q's?

This life wouldn't matter to me at all if I wasn't certain the lessons and training I get here will be useful to me in many dozens of future lives i will live in other planes of existence strewn across the vast universe of time and space.
