I have been saying this all weekend. Insufficient numbers of NHS staff, PPE and ICU beds and not enough Police to enforce a lockdown on a disrespectful selfish populous.

Agree it was clear a choice - not sure it’s an anti-foreign thing. Capacity stretched as cases increased. I think they were just overwhelmed by enormity of task and panicked. I fear they still are. I wish we could do more at local/community level.

Did you catch name of WHO professor? He was so clear. Social measures harsh but total shutdown of society not necessary.

I suspect right now there are so many undiagnosed cases, it is probably quite impractical due to numbers
