BTW this is a rescue cat who came from an abused home (I honestly can’t imagine how someone would want to abuse her) but she is just living her best life and this blanket that she is on is so she never has to be out of her reach. She is just the best!
Someone managed to get a pic of this mornings session on the waveski. Unfortunately the one I picked up is a bit more intermediate so I need to make some tweaks to get it to my level but it was still fun.
Today we have officially been in Cape Town for 1 year already. Crazy how quick this last year flew by

This is an exciting morning, I have an hours drive to Somerset to go and fetch my waveski and then get to take her out with our group today
Deal sorted! It’s an hours drive from me but it’s in incredible condition and comes with paddles for R1200 so I couldn’t skip on this

I had the weirdest experience today, woke up with a red and scratchy eye that just got worse and ended up taking these eye drops that was the equivalent of putting condensed milk in your eye so I couldn’t see anything. It has cleared up after pretty much keeping it closed all day
I don’t really know what’s happening here but we are in the middle of a heatwave and the outside table cloth has blown off and my cat has decided to climb into it and sleep. Who knows
That was such a good day out in the ocean, it’s an absolute scorcher in CT today so the beach was packed and managed to introduce friends to wave skiing

So with my retriever arriving in a few months I’ve been doing a lot of research and it seems the US is so big on crate training but that is something I have never heard of here. Just a lack of garden in the states or something else?
