I like your solution, was just wondering if it’s not more common for the user to expect next on the right side (to the future/forward) and prev (back to the past/backwards) on the left

I thought about this and it made me super curious about how people think mentally about these things. I looked at the number-based pagination where the newest is on the left, but then I also understand the reverse.
