I think we should expect our professors and scientific leaders to not creep on women. And to judge them when they publicly and consistently insist on their rights to have sex with underage girls the same age as the students they are teaching. He resigned when held to account.

if you read my answer, this is exactly what i told (not sure why you rephrase it). it is inacceptable when people with more power than you, make propositions. it is totally ok though if sb with no power on you(like rms or sb in a bar) asks you out. you deny and everybody moves on

Two popular examples used to discredit stallman these last days were a sexist joke Stallman dropped from talks and the "he asked me out I said no the end" micro-anecdote which like with the headlines is evidence against the accusations thrown his way.
