2 things going on here. 1) carwyn’s deputy doesn’t know that her boss in Cardiff has been pushing for this for some time. Surreal given it got a fair bit of airtime; 2) she’s also unaware of corbyn’s manifesto. Again, how is that possible?

Agree entirely. Labour in Wales has historically been a tool of the party right - despite the left being the vote-getters.

This is untrue, Labour in Wales for most of its history has been to the left of UK Labour. Arguably it still is, it just has the forced responsibility of government at the moment which UK Labour doesn't.

Didn't Corbyn say that he wants to make St David's Day a bank holiday in the whole of the UK though? Slightly different to what McEvoy asked about. Personally I think the plan to extend the holiday outside of Wales is insane.

More to the point.. what’s the First minister spending our money on now? Another expensive foreign hotel, with nothing much to show for it?

They’ve been pushing to, or Carwyn has. Again, that his deputy or whoever that woman is has no idea about it is just surreal and shows the quality of politician they have

She said they have no plans to make it a bank holiday though. I also think she probably just didn’t want to agree with a plaid motion
