And the scenes I used for that video were for talking about specific moments in the Steven universe movie. They didn’t even have audio they were just used to talk about specific points which is protected undersection 107 of the copyright act of 1976.

Look I just want my main channel reinstated. Instead of punishing creators why not create system where as soon as it is uploaded it says that you cannot upload for x y and z reasons then tells you how to publish this video without repercussions.

At the very least the copyright system is flawed. punishment is less effective than treating the behavior. The system should act as a preventative measure for all creators.

With your competition
@bilibili_en they are able to better in terms of copyright because they don’t punish creators they simply just say if the content is acceptable and whether or both they will allow for posting.Show this threadThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

You clearly have the copyright algorithm to do this. All you need to do is eliminate the punishment method. Have it be said that the creators video will not be allowed on the platform. The creator then can appeal to the owner or ask permission from the owner.

Also why not make it easier for us creators to get in direct contact with copyright owners. It would allow us to innovate and create without any necessary legal action. It’s hard contacting these big companies because they don’t wanna listen to people like us so we don’t know...

What to do. I think that this system could easily be rectified and benefit both creators and the company. Again they post you analyze show the reprecussions of posting said content and then they choose to appeal or post. It’s easier and doesn’t cause any hassle.

Instead of having a punishment system have a preventative system. It’s super easy given your current technology status and your algorithm.
@PhillyD as a creator I respect and love could you tell if you think the YouTube copyright system should be preventative and both....Show this thread - 1 more reply
