The new Star Wars has men crying, shows men vulnerable, etc. These are tremendously positive messages to young men, in today's culture.
The New Star Wars had its problematic moments, but its portrayal of masculinity was very refreshing. It was pretty nontoxic.

I really was just thrilled by the amount of deconstructing of toxic masculinity it did.

I really hope that the next Star Wars movie will continue this refreshing trend; and also broaden the diversity of the series in more ways.

Star Wars is a very powerful influence on what young kids believe is normal; would be great to see LGBTQ characters, non neurotypical, etc.
