I've seen Theo literally scream at someone in a hotel lobby because he disagreed with something they'd said in a talk earlier that day.
He has bragged to the press that he knows of RCEs in FreeBSD but will not disclose them because of some perceived slight which he also refuses to discuss.
When an RCE was found in the OpenSSH privsep code, forcing OpenBSD to stop claiming that they had never shipped an RCE, he was furious that FreeBSD was not vulnerable (because I had not enabled privsep) and spent several days berating me by email.
But go on, do tell me what a fine guy Theo de Raadt is...
No. But even if they were, it does not excuse his behavior. If I had been in charge he would have been frogmarched out of there and banned from future conferences.
