We hear a lot of people say โ€œCSS is hardโ€. Half the time itโ€™s not CSS youโ€™re struggling with. Itโ€™s design. If you find it hard to create a great looking page, chances are - you might just be bad at designing. And thatโ€™s what you need to focus on learning.

๐Ÿ’ก @vercel quick tip: get the location of the incoming request! Vercel's Edge Network adds geolocation headers like city, region, timezone, and more in Functions and Middleware. Helpful if you want to personalize a page based on the visitor.
Example of a Vercel Function to pull the x-vercel-ip-timezone header off of the incoming request and then returns it as a JSON response. Then, it shows a cURL command to retrieve this information from the deployed URL.

Nothing better than two techies chatting, who have a lot of hands on experience of variety of things. The frameworks around learning are quite insightful๐Ÿ’กand much helpful for young engineers getting started in techโœจ

If you're a fresher applying for frontend dev positions right now, a very low effort but high ROI thing you can do is to add a "Login with demo account" button to all of your side projects Always positively surprised by anyone who does this

It's disturbing how we value people from twitter more than our actual mentors at work just because the former have a twitter account and more number of followers. The people who have taught me the most have no following on twitter.

โœจ Useful insights only come from real work. You show up every day and put in the hours. You observe patterns in your work, and those patterns turn into insights. Some of those are extensible & reusable, and add value to others. 100 hours โ†’ 10 learnings โ†’ 1 good insight.

The problem I see around operators going full time creator is that they lose the source of their content. Eventually, the stuff that made them great in the first place goes missing.
