So apparently your voice can be copyright claimed on YouTube. I was testing my mic filters on a private stream and after I was done it got claimed by CD Baby.

There needs to be a internet content creators union. A minimal membership fee would create a huge budget for legal protection if enough joined. You can join and leave at any time, but if you need legal council within the first 6 months, you need to pay for 6 months. Easy

Isn't this what small claims court is for though? You can file for next to nothing. You don't use a lawyer. Just make the claim in person in front of a local judge, and so long as you have proof, go home with yout $2,000 or whatever?
