Treating healthcare as a privilege is wrong. Talk about picking winners and losers. Diseases don't discriminate, treatment shouldn't either.

Half right, lifestyle surely affects probability of contracting certain illness.
-
Lifestyle choices are surely a factor. Part of a healthy lifestyle is the ability to see a doctor/afford care when necessary.
-
Agreed, but a responsible healthcare policy needs to keep people accountable for their lifestyle choices.

-
Economics influences lifestyle choices. When you live in a food desert, you eat what you can afford and what's available
-
Tell that to someone born with type one diabetes, a genetic disorder or a physical disability. Right. Lifestyle.

Sad response--I wonder if the response would be different is she woke up without her governmental job which provides healthcare!

I don't believe she meant privilege in the way it was stated. I think she meant it's a privilege to those of us that have it.
-
So you don't think she understood the question?
-
No I don't, that's why her answer was off. She sounds like she was trying to say it's a privilege to have it because I work.
-
Not to mention she has to present a succinct answer and respond in a few seconds. Not easy for anyone.
-
45 seconds after a pop up question, people cheering loudly and more. The next young lady replied to Ms. DC's questions too, LOL.
-
After listening to her answer in its entirety, I tend to agree that she misunderstood the question. Either way, it's her opinion.
-
No she didn't. Y'all need to get off your lazy asses and get a job pay for your own like we did before Obama came in. We don't owe you jack!
-
I have worked since I was 14. And have fantastic medical insurance, thanks for your concern. Clearly your reading comprehension needs work
