I am so sorry this happened to you. I too was a victim of childhood sexual abuse by my stepfather at age 5 and 6. My mother caught him but stayed with him, sending me to live with my grandmother. I have forgiven her but it never stops hurting.
He was the nephew of my father’s girlfriend at the time & was older & stronger than me. It started when I was 7 & I thought he’d hurt me more & that nobody would believe me. It took 4 years to break the silence. He was abusing other kids too, I later found out. #WhyIDidntReport

I'm ashamed that i posted something going against this movement cause of my own fears but now I'm just gone say it i got raped by my step dad at 6 years old told my mom and due to her drug abuse she didn't care cause of it i ended up in the system where things got worst

I was a 12 y/o virgin, he was 18. My single mom was raising 2 girls and I didn't want to burden her with the stress of it. 2nd time I was 16 and was date raped. This was before the term was coined. Then domestic violence. Consequently, as a 50 y/o am emotionally unavailable.
