99 smartphones are transported in a handcart to generate virtual traffic jam in Google Maps. Through this activity, it is possible to turn a green street red which has an impact in the physical world by navigating cars on another route!

Sites are noticeably faster without the standard Analytics script and GTM. One option to continue using it without the bloat: It's 1.5Kb.

Since a few months my blog is equipped with a Web Monetization meta tag from Coil. The article I published on the weekend was a good test for it. Result: I earned € 0.21 Euro in crypto with those estimated 300K reads, while I had traffic cost of $ 40. Yay :)

Facebook today launched the "Off-Facebook-Activity"-Tab for everyone. Now you can see which websites/apps forwarded data about your external activities to FB: It seems to be a first step to stop GDPR fines on companies using the business tools.

Nothing has to be done in absolutes. You can eat vegetarian 6 days a week and still eat some meat if it makes you feel good. That’s where I’m at right now.

I've just released a blog post that I started way back last year and that got longer and longer and longer. Initially I wanted to release it on January 15th, but I missed the mark. Solution: I backdated it! :) Here it is: Today, the Trident Era Ends
