it has officially been 208 years since mount tambora erupted, spewing so much volcanic ash that the sky was hazy for a year and the sun was partially blocked, making temps almost a degree colder than usual

long shot, but does anyone know the legendary tunnel-digger Elton MacDonald from the "Hobby tunneling" Wikipedia article? I'm doing a Wikipedia-themed variety/comedy show in Toronto later this month and would love to have him come
