Only surprising thing about the idiotic “recall Boudin” effort is that his haters from Day 1 waited a whole year. Their campaign is just a reaction to @chesaboudin commitment to dismantling racist practices & making our legal system more fairhttps://www.sfexaminer.com/news/chesa-boudin-responds-to-critics-in-first-state-of-justice-address/ …

Do you genuinely believe that the families of murder victims who are now speaking out against Chesa can be reduced to that motivation? There are real, nuanced issues happening in our district, and as our representative I would love to see you take these seriously.

I work on these issues every day, Ryan, but my tweet addressed the recall effort, which is not about public safety, it’s about opposition to criminal justice reform. Do you support the recall effort?

One of your colleagues put it well recently during a conversation we had: “Ultimately, we elected Chesa because he told us his system will lead to a safer, more just San Francisco. I still hope that’s true, but he has to deliver.” Reform *and* public safety must both be our goals

How truly privileged is it for you to seat here and discuss how there is still hope that Chesa "to deliver". Why don't you @DeanPreston tell about your truly perverse understanding of justice to mother of Hanako Abe, the girl killed by a criminal repeatedly released by DA office?
