good... screw the establishment right now. They aren't as evil as republicans, but their apathy / ineffectiveness enables that evil.

Actually they’re worse, because they rob us of a effective opposition party and feed us platitudes while raking in bribes

Slightly off topic...What do homosexuals prefer as pro-noun? (I suck at grammar. That could be wrong.) In my day, "queer" was a derogatory word. On the other hand I understand "gay" is no longer PC. When it was first used it wasn't meant as a slur. Curious. 🤔https://twitter.com/democracynow/status/1143726699336601600 …

The community has taken initiative to take back the term "queer" in recent years. It's kind of a blanket term that many of us use to refer to ourselves or the community. In general, just saying gay or lesbian is just fine, but if someone wants to go by queer, that's their call.

it's been reclaimed by the community. many people still view it as a slur, but ultimately it's up to individuals if they're okay with being called queer. i use it because it's a good umbrella term that doesn't involve explaining specifics to people.
