    With those two insanely rare controllers, the GameCube controller documentation is complete! The Brazilian Gradiente Indigo and Jet Black controllers now have their own entries on my website. Fun fact, those were manufactured in Brazil, outside of Mitsumi's factories.

    Today I’m thinking about the Māori who were sent away (voluntarily or not) to fight for their colonisers, only to get back and find their land had been stolen as gifts for white soldiers. They fought against racism, then came back homeless, and weren’t even allowed into hotels.

    I know I'm making a mistake by watching free to air TV but holy shit the Anzac Day mythologisation is miserable today. Our troops *barely* fought one single time (in WW2) "for our freedoms" - every other time we were participating in wars of aggression. I hate it here.

    When I say ‘zero risk’, I mean absolutely ZERO risk. Preferential voting means that regardless of the way in which you structure your vote, you aren’t helping the Coalition. (just make sure you preference them last)

    If you believe in the things that the Greens are proposing, there is absolutely zero risk in voting one Green and two Labor. Labor will get your preferences and (hopefully) you’ll send a message that you want your party to be more progressive.

    I feel sick. Apple just sent me an email saying they're removing my free game Motivoto because its more than 2 years old. It's part of their App improvement system. This is not cool. Console games from 2000 are still available for sale. This is an unfair barrier to indie devs.

    Now I am expected, along with Google's new program, to update all of my games every 2 years even if nothing is wrong with them. Even yearly Unity updates break project so badly they won't run. This is not an insignificant challenge and adds undue stress.
