So has anyone ever heard of streaming gameplay footage using serialized OpenGL/DirectX calls in place of a generic video codec?
@comex for uniforms, definitely not. Most objects change position during a scene because of physics simulation and/or animation.

@delroth_ Also, compression designed for this kind of data (predicting positions move linearly or whatever) could help. -
@comex it still has a ton more problems (no playback on a phone, for example) even if you manage to get it to be efficient enough - 1 more reply
