Trying to figure out what would be involved to run an upstream kernel on my QNAP ARMv8 NAS (Alpine AL324 SoC). The last source release I could find from QNAP is kernel 4.2.8, and there's 7.7 MiB of diff :-/

Nah they decided that the best place to have a disk model pretty-printer was in the kernel, I think.
