OTOH maybe there's no established player because there's no market and all previous major players have bailed out. Remember OnLive?
I don't think game streaming is a dead tech. I think Cloud gaming "as a service" has many issues that make it unappealing to its main customer base.

ah yeah, i followed the thread more, which has legit concerns! tbh tho I don't think streaming will ever be a big enough market to make significant major changes in the way most people play today (pro GPU requirements, etc)

plus it comes off as a risky move because it's really just a complement others can add -- if you have a PS4, why bother with this? Microsoft can just add it to the Xbox, so the market is then PC, but that's very limited in appeal outside of niche needs, and Steam does it now! etc
