Not sure why such a feature would be good, if you're not comfortable with the broadcaster or people knowing that you're a sub then why sub in the first place. Although, you could subscribe when the channel is offline and the chance of them noticing it def lower

Uhhhh you understand there is a difference in wanting to support a streamer and putting my name publicly in front of 100-10K people, recorded forever, as supporting that streamer? Maybe some people just want privacy? Or think that sub notifs are annoying anyway?

You can subscribe when the person is offline, the name will not be broadcast technically. However that data is still available to the streamer who can use it on stream or promote offline stream subs, up to the streamer.

That's what I've been doing when I remember to do so. But it feels like an unsupported hack, not like Twitch understanding that their viewers might want privacy. To be clear, I don't mind streamers knowing who their subs are, but there should be an option to not be auto-dox'd.

wait, you can see your name on a follow list? .....oh right you can.....I just forget it's there The thing is, the only thing I care is the streamer not having alerts on follow because many do and it annoys me
