North Face has been defacing Wikipedia as a marketing stunt to sell clothing. Not cool.

Hmm... The GPS trace from my last bike tour recorded on placed me 120 meters below ground for a bit. Can you even get GPS signal there? :-)

The only (AFAIK) way to check Shinkansen seats availability online: • Copyright (C) 1997 • <!--This site is best viewed with Internet Explorer 5.5<br>--> • Closed every evening from 10:30pm to 6:30am. • Is literally called CYBER STATION

The way is handling tickets presale for their major events is becoming more and more ridiculous. The replicated vouchers system puts "random dude who is part of the right German hackerspace" in front of many many FOSS/HW/Security community members in the ticket queue.

Important security research from Google on the effectiveness of various kinds of 2FA that got a bit buried this crazy week. Among key findings, SMS 2FA was still 76% effective against highly "targeted" phishing attacks and 99% good vs. "bulk" phishing.

So AMD CPUs implement an RDRAND operation that doesn't actually return randomness (after your first suspend/resume cycle that is).
