I'm not reading too much right now into the lack of #GenZ & #millennial enthusiasm during the primary relative to what could happen in the Fall.
With most Democrats, this seems to have been a referendum on Bernie so far. Younger voters supporting him, older ones opposing him.
The center-left candidates have not broken through yet w/ younger voters. If general election is a referendum on Trump, like it was in '18 midterms, & there's not a contested convention, I'm optimistic youth will re-engage, turnout, support the Dem nominee at Obama-era levels.
I like your optimism but with only 6% support among young voters Biden's candidacy is a massive risk in terms of youth turnout. He needs to pick a VP who will inspire young people and try hard to win over young voters. GOP turnout predicted higher than '16
