I'm not reading too much right now into the lack of #GenZ & #millennial enthusiasm during the primary relative to what could happen in the Fall.
With most Democrats, this seems to have been a referendum on Bernie so far. Younger voters supporting him, older ones opposing him.
The center-left candidates have not broken through yet w/ younger voters. If general election is a referendum on Trump, like it was in '18 midterms, & there's not a contested convention, I'm optimistic youth will re-engage, turnout, support the Dem nominee at Obama-era levels.
MUCH younger voters. Because JB is hanging tough with 30-44 year olds.
It deeply saddens me the lack of turnout at this crucial point. For me this is more tragic than Trumpism itself.
