Have young voters not turned out in the first 4 states at levels comparable to 2018?

W/ exception of IA caucus, where Pete pulled younger voters along w/ Bernie, turnout is flat or lower so far & I think those who follow this/care about youth vote should be asking critical questions. Not a lot of data so far...I have theories, let's see what tongiht brings.

Psychology research says too many choices demotivates buyers. So maybe it demotivates voters.

Would it demotivate younger more than older voters?

What data are you drawing that conclusion from? I'm not aware of any reliable turnout data at this point.

Maybe it's about the choices, not the voters? Maybe younger voters in states like Texas and Oklahoma realized that Sanders is a hard-core Marxist, and can't support him any more. Then they saw sleepy Joe (boring) and Mini-Mike (elitist) and stayed home?

It looks like I was pretty much right - according to this they just stayed home, especially in more centrist states:https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/elections/2020/03/04/super-tuesday-bernie-sanders-youth-votes-fell-short-compared-2016/4947795002/ …
