We can believe in capitalism, with regulations, but "market failures" of the system are widespread, blatant, and killing people. It is government's job to step in, as the main means of collective active. Younger people, widely screwed by the rigged system, understand this.
In no way is this an overstatement. Young Americans, specifically those <40 have fundamentally different set of values than older Americans, especially re role govt should play in solving structural barriers in system.
