Young people don’t engage in politics because they are berated for their age, told they don’t know anything because of their age, etc. They aren’t treated like they have something valuable to add, just treated like children even if they are mid twenties sometimes.

Actually the reality is that under Obama gun owners were in constant fear of having their rights violated so they bought more guns. Everytime the left gets up in arms it just creates more advertising for gun companies
