They R freakin' students! In the 70s, my brothers started working (delivering newspapers) at ten years old, I started babysitting at 12. But today, adults need those jobs today. I don't think young kids should be working, but it would be great if the economy allowed 16 yo 2 work!

Not everything has to be an omnibus statement of platform. And if they did lump gun control in with it, it would give opponents more leverage to weaken the effort and the language, and spur the NRA into swerving out of their lane on an issue they would otherwise let slide.

If there's only three things that get done between now and 2020, I'll take climate change, executive impeachments, and gun control, in that order. There would be room for more, in a government that was being run in good-faith by the party in control of the presidency and senate.
