    Reminder: starting at 8am on April 28, 2020 Delawareans must wear face coverings in public like in grocery stores, pharmacies, doctor’s offices, and on public transit for anyone 13 and older. Any child 2yrs or younger MUST NOT wear a face covering, due to the risk of suffocation.

    DPH reports a 458-person increase in positive coronavirus cases today (4/26). This brings the total positive cases to 4,034 in Delaware. New Castle County cases: 1,599 Kent County cases: 625 Sussex County cases: 1,801 Unknown County: 9 Males: 1,822; Females: 2,178; Unknown: 34

    Now is not the time for Delawareans to get complacent. We face a very serious situation, with additional cases of COVID-19 and hospitalizations statewide. That's why starting 8am on Tues, 4/28, Delawareans are required to wear face coverings in public. ℹ️

    As a state, our greatest concern is the increasing rate of cases in Sussex County. For Hispanics in Delaware, the rate – cases per 10K population – is 66.5 vs 47.4 for blacks and 14.3 for whites. For Hispanics in Sussex, it's 192.4 cases/10K. More data:
