    Also, ALL the story group have values > 100 at post-test, whereas just over half the control group do. TBH this looks to me like it could be human error in how values were recorded.

    Thanks for the replies. I do wonder if this might be just a case of data sometimes being recorded with decimal place and sometimes not. The data is on OSF - here's a section of the oxytocin values (pre, post, then group). All below 100 have 1 dec place; none above 100 has. 1/2

    I don't know anything about oxytocin - can any experts tell me if it's feasible to have a 5 fold (10-fold in story group) increase in oxytocin levels before and after a talking intervention? Units for Oxytocin are pg/ml
