"Customers" does not equal the number of people affected by this continued LUMA Energy failure in Puerto Rico. Nor does it emphasize the gravity of the situation for people whose lives depend upon medical support powered by electricity

In Puerto Rico, the Popular Democratic Party (PPD) and the New Progressive Party(PNP) - which ain’t progressive - are cuddling up to far right Project Dignity to get votes, and are willing to throw women’s bodily autonomy under the bus.

Carmen McRae, was born on April 8, 1920. She was not only an extraordinary jazz vocalist - she was also a civil rights activist. Her niece, Janet Cyril was a member of the Black Panther Party in NYC – We will not forget Carmen's benefit concert to free the NY Panther 21.

People...and I mean Democratic Voters who...frankly aren't that well informed...really think that the DNC is THE central organizing hub for all messaging in the Party. It's 100% bullshit. That's not what it does. It's NEVER what it's done. (1/10)

They started giving awards for Best Original Score and Best Original Song in 1934...it never occurred to me that it wasn’t until 1972 that a Black musician/songwriter was awarded an Oscar for Best Original Song, along with becoming the first Black person to win a non-acting award
