This is a superb example and I don't want to distract from it being something I hope they correct. However I will point out they have in other books been very good at offering opportunities and plot hooks to LGBT themes. Werewolf's Changing Ways for example.

Just to be clear, the issue here is that Chechen authorities have dismissed these allegations as a wild conspiracy theory. When you frame the *real world* persecution as part of a fictional conspiracy in your vampire RPG, you’re playing into the narrative of an abusive regime.
