Bought a new fridge (rhymes with Drigidaire)in July & it hasn’t worked right from the get-go. Noisy, defrosting/refreezing. Tech comes today & says oh, right,it needs a new door & compressor bc the factory made misshapen doors for THREE months before they caught the problem. Wtf?

Have similar problem w/fridge by maker that sounds like hamstrung. CONSTANTLY have to empty, and defrost frozen up interior because fan quits. 1/mo on average.

I had that problem with my OLD fridge, but was not expecting that problem on a new one. Have you googled it? Seems a few people have had that issue with their Hamsung fridges! Might be a solution available for you. Or call Hamsung headquarters and complain, like I did.

Whoops. Meant to reply and retweeted.
Yes, Hubs checked Net. Fridge started this after warranty expired. He attempted warming wire fix per Net. IMO made it worse. No more Hamstrung fridges for me!1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

Every appliance seems to have built-in obsolescence which leads to rapid failure. Mine was literally built with warped doors that won’t seal the freezer. But bc they couldn’t stop the assembly line for 3 months, they just sold them that way, according to the repair guy. Sigh.

Incompetence.
Had factory-built black gunk accumulation in bottom w/old DW. Repair guy said was common due to "low-flow rinse cycles". Thing ran daily so wasn't inactivity prob. Same w/stove heat vent searing stainless steel finish. "Design flaw". Maker (two letters): "Who us?"2 replies 0 retweets 0 likes
Staying away from them, too. Gonna be cooking over a campfire and storing food in a cooler soon. Has to be one Decent/Trustworthy appliance maker??
