The way I see it, fighting for a #WealthTax means fighting to build a country that lives our values. It means asking those at the top to invest in an entire generation—so that everyone has the opportunity to thrive.pic.twitter.com/WA1jXK1rbu

Agreed. This is pure politics. It sounds great to voters who don’t know any better. Pure fantasy.

Move their jobs to another country. Remember the luxury tax scheme of the 1990's? The rich just bought their yachts cheaper elsewhere. Dismal failure.

That's the most ridiculous thing I've heard. They can liquidate any time they want to. You don't get to avoid taxes bc too much of your money is invested in your mortgage or your medical costs so no, other investments aren't a justification to default either.

Hmmm, can you elaborate? She’s saying 2% on every $ over $50M. So if it’s $51M, it’s $20K tax. Stats show 75K ppl in this is group of ppl. Bezos would have to pay ~$9M (6%) which equates to 4,000 shares of AMNZ... avg vol is over 3M. So I’m not following ur concern. I’m not 4 WT.
