    I’m going to go ahead and say the men seem pretty angry & shrill tonight..

    Ever wonder why female candidates aren’t seen as “presidential?” In author points out that female candidates are often portrayed in the media as angry, over-emotional, shrill or generally here to kill the fun. A prime example:

    I’m counting the interrupters... those are the practices that attempt to silence women in boardrooms, meetings, churches, synagogues, mosques and family reunion debates i.e. in personal life and workspaces everywhere.

    When men run against women, they pay more attention to gender dynamics/issues important to women. In my () research, I talk about this as a gender compensation strategy.

    Before Warren's comment just now, the candidates who were the most outspoken on women’s issues: Two men, Inslee and Castro.
