While necessary, I’m heartbroken by the cancellation of the Great Minnesota Get Together, which would have been my 52nd. Going to miss my Sweet Martha’s, Turkey-to-Go, mini donuts, corn, music at the grandstand, seeing all of you - & sitting on tractors. ⁦⁦

and the St. Fair Board as they know a second Covid-19 wave is due this fall, if not sooner, and they are concerned about saving Minnesota lives, including yours and your constituents.

I think they should still open the grounds and have drive thru only for the big foods like cheese curds, fries, Pronto pups, corn dogs and malts! Charge admission per car.

I totally agree Dean. We missed last year, but have been saving for this years trip. Very sad, and disappointed, but understand that no distancing is"policable."

I will miss volunteering at the Dean booth and later walking around in my inflatable Dino suit with a sign that said “avoid extinction, vote blue,” giving high 5’s and hugs to folks who approached me. Great memories! 💙
