So this messed up my release for today. I had SNDN3 uploaded a week ago and wanted it to be manually reviewed but it never changed to "yellow" so I couldn't get it reviewed. The second I publish it today and it starts getting a lot of views, it flips to yellow. Because of that...https://twitter.com/TeamYouTube/status/1070082449865101313 …

...it doesn't get pushed out to all my subs like it should, and now it has to go through the manual review process - which, as we all know, is entirely arbitrary, and if it fails the review then the upload is completely botched.
@TeamYouTube, PLEASE fix this process.3 replies 7 retweets 248 likesShow this thread -

Since you've requested for a manual review already, we'd request you wait for an email confirmation. For future videos, upload them as unlisted and request a manual review. Once the status is confirmed by manual review, it won't change again, then you can make it public.

Unfortunately, lots of problems with this response - 1.) I do upload my videos as unlisted, but I can't request a manual review if they never change to yellow. With today's video, it was unlisted and green for nearly a week and ONLY turned yellow after I published it.

2.) Saying that the status "won't change again" is patently untrue. I've had a number of videos that I put through the manual review process, got "confirmed" by that process, then shortly after publishing they either changed to yellow or even got age-restricted.

Thank you. In the meantime, if there's anyway you could expedite the review for today's video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EyUrFH2j_AQ …, that'd be very helpful. It's an extremely tame movie so it shouldn't be controversial - this thing could play on the Disney channel, lol.
