Oh, fuck off. You clearly don't know the medical science. You're just copy-pasting from the first pro-circumcision website you googled. Do some real research, not just research to rationalize your decision. Besides, by your own admission, you didn't do it for health reasons.

My deeply held belief that changed somewhat-female genital mutilation should be banned-after research, seems best approach is local group agreement by parents of boys & girls to stop-it is cultural & about marriage chances. website w male/female/intersex https://www.mendocomplain.com/page/5/

So webmd and now the Mayo Clinic. I read your article now please read mine. https://www.mayoclinic.org/tests-procedures/circumcision/about/pac-20393550 …

It is very basic information. I'm not sure what your point is. Both the webMD and the Mayo clinic article list some benefits & some risks. Hopefully your son will meet the girl of your & his dreams & she will love him more than his anatomy.

The pros outweigh the cons

I don't agree. Risk can include death, ~100/year: https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/moral-landscapes/201109/myths-about-circumcision-you-likely-believe … This article is quite blunt but itemizes more of the cons and corporate profit that is made from hospital sale of the skin. http://thinkaboutnow.com/2016/03/3-wayscorporationsprofitoffbaby-foreskin14/ … , earlier info on that topic http://www.foreskin.org/f4sale.htm

Routine circumcision of all newborn male infants is not recommended by the Canadian Pediatric Society-Newborn male circumcision https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4578472/ … W.H.O suggests better training & adequate supplies help reduce risk,/ rec more now in HIV endemic areas https://www.who.int/hiv/pub/malecircumcision/neonatal_child_MC_UNAIDS.pdf …

Looks to me like there are pros and cons. Those dr’s that agree and disagree. So no right or wrong. I suggest letting parents do what they feel is right and people just minding their business.

From your link a risk "Risk of injury to the penis," as part of my job I directly worked with parents of newborns & so I saw a lot of examples. I'm glad your son is okay & that you are pleased with your decision but that doesn't mean it hasn't left others damaged & traumatized.
