Trump on a study on hydroxychloroquine he doesn't identify: "There was a false study done." He said the drug was given to people who were "old" and "ready to die" and that the people who gave them the drug were "obviously not friends of the administration." This is just bonkers.
Trump specifies that he's referring to the study of VA patients. He calls it "a phony study" done by people who wanted to "make political points." There are valid criticisms of the study, but there's no evidence at all for these claims it's a political conspiracy.
