A Tree of Life rabbi, Jeffrey Myers, said twice on TV this morning that Trump was welcome to visit and that it'd be his honour to meet the president.

It’s an accurate reflection of my neighborhood and most of our city. I live a few blocks from Tree of Life and can say the worst thing right now for our community would be him showing up for photo ops and spewing his hateful lies. We will protest, even in our grief.
-
Susan, I’m in a Pittsburgh resistance group and we are looking to follow Squirrel Hills’ lead with if we should protest or not...turn our backs etc. if you have any info on how we can support you, can you DM me?

Trump has tried to have it both ways. Pro-Israel and pro white supremacy. Rather Trump is an opportunist with what’s in it for me. It has nothing to do with right or wrong.

Resisting anyone who spreads hate, and he does should be the core of all good peoples mission.

You don’t speak for the community! I live here too and I am repulsed how the Left politicized this tragedy.
-
"Don't come unless you do this" is such a gotcha moment, it's despicable on top of the already grotesque act of politicizing what happened.

I would say at least 70% of the American Jewish community shares these sentiments, if not more. We’re mostly extremely allergic to Nazis and their willing helpers.

I can’t imagine a single Conservative synagogue, including the one I belong to, that would want Trump to visit after a tragedy like this. Trump is too full of hate and his visit would be crass and 100% political. A rabbi might might say yes, but not the congregation.
-
Browsing your TL, that's quite interesting. All I see in your comments is hate. Well, hate and anger.
-
11 Jews were murdered because Trump and the extremist right incited a nut to go to a synagogue in violent protest over a bogus right wing conspiracy theory about a caravan. You bet I’m angry. You can also bet I will do everything I can to defeat the extremist right you embrace.

-
Dude, that guy is anti trump.
-
Dude, that murderer wholly bought into the right wing extremist conspiracy theory openly promoted by the hate-filled, sociopathic piece of human garbage you support.
