Possibly the hardest mix I've made. Consisted of usual Technic SL1200's but with added Roland Juno-D and this cool new software from Apple called Logic Studio. Blending in sounds on top of the tracks with very long fades.https://soundcloud.com/deepercoza/mix-22-the-b-sides …
Each fade had 3/4 samples and additional layers added to them, the idea being the sound was continually wrapped into attack, sustain and delay envelopes. I miss logic Studio, it was a period where Apple really cared about pro music users. Then it all died a horrible death.
30 mins in.. this listened to with proper cans (not this beats by dre crap or the apple ones), you'll hear the various layers I had waaaaay too much free time
33 mins in and we've got 3 records all being blended, the Roland doing quick blips of my motorola flip phone sound (it sounded good, dont @ me) and logic doing a drone sound I recorded in Chernobyl.
