Marie Butina has been sentenced to an 18-month prison term, after which she will be deported. We'll have to see if Barr manages to keep her from testifying before Congress.https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/legal-issues/maria-butina-russian-who-conspired-to-infiltrate-the-nra-due-for-sentencing/2019/04/25/3ff24216-66ce-11e9-82ba-fcfeff232e8f_story.html …

You should never accuse a person of a serious crime without a full picture. Particularly not in a public space. Barr showed us something troubling, but that’s not enough to make this leap.
-
If Barr's unhappy, he can sue me. I'd love the discovery process. I'd subpoena every document, video, book, financial record and computer he's ever touched. It's not a leap to think the associates of a criminal traitor are also criminal traitors.

Wonder how much money is involved here? Influence eventually has a cost. It may cost Barr his legacy, if it hasn’t already.
-
It should cost Barr his freedom. This criminal traitor needs life in prison.
-
You are right,...before he does too much damage.

A federal court ruled Michigan's Republican legislature unfairly gerrymandered state legislative boundaries, and the map must be re-drawn. How's that?https://www.npr.org/2019/04/25/717241463/federal-court-rules-that-michigans-congressional-map-was-unfairly-gerrymandered …

That’s not true. Prosecutors from the US Attorneys Office in DC requested 18 months over & above the 9 months she’s served already. The judge will decide her sentence tomorrow at her hearing.https://www.washingtonpost.com/amphtml/local/legal-issues/prosecutors-seek-18-month-prison-sentence-for-maria-butina-in-russian-plot-to-forge-ties-to-us-conservative-groups/2019/04/19/de703ba2-6203-11e9-9412-daf3d2e67c6d_story.html …

"Prosecutors from the US Attorneys Office in DC" is not the same as "Attorney General Barr."

Oops, I meant the article in the first tweet in this thread, not a screenshot. Here’s the WaPo article from the day her sentencing memo was filed.https://www.washingtonpost.com/amphtml/local/legal-issues/prosecutors-seek-18-month-prison-sentence-for-maria-butina-in-russian-plot-to-forge-ties-to-us-conservative-groups/2019/04/19/de703ba2-6203-11e9-9412-daf3d2e67c6d_story.html …

Has she been subpoenaed yet, and if not, why not?
-
Apparently subpoenas don't mean anything now.
-
We'll have to see about that. Various House committees are considering arresting some of the Trump Regime officials who have been ignoring subpoenas. I expect there to be movement very quickly.

Can he be impeached. He needs to splain his self.
-
Attorney General can be impeached, yes. Remember, Nixon's AG was sent to prison.
