The police absolutely should have left them alone to begin with, but the guy refused to give the cops his I.D. when asked. That’s probably why he was cuffed, not because he was playing t-ball in the park with his daughter.

Any wonder why the lefty radicals call police officers pigs? The first thing, and the only thing, the "daddy" should have said is, "I want a lawyer". As dimwitted as the officers appear, they were probably bright enough to want to avoid explaining their actions to a judge.
